This year's show had everything: glorious sunshine, a record attendance, quality exhibits, exciting competition, numerous novelty events, children's entertainment, exhibition centre and demonstrations, in fact something for everyone.

The All-Ireland Suckler Heifer final attracted eighteen qualifiers from all over the country with the top prize going to Glenswilly, Co. Donegal.

The All-Ireland Bantam Chicken Final also brought eighteen qualifiers and the top prize went to Strokestown, Co Roscommon. The winner of the lucrative Growvite All-Ireland Hogget Championships was Robert Porter from Oldcastle, Co Meath.
